Chief Nave was employed by the City of Fairburn from 1967 until 1998 where he served as the chief of police for 13 years.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary Nave of Jackson; daughters, Annette Nave of Villa Rica, Brenda Carmical of Moreland, Angie Huckaby and her husband Charlie of Fairburn; son, Tony Nave and his wife Jodi of Jonesboro; grandchildren, James McQueen, Taylor Carmical, Kati Nave, Kimberly Nave; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at 2 o'clock in the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Yates officiating. Interment Holly Hill Memorial Park.
