Beverly was the daughter of John William Calfee and Sara Effie Mamie Sloan. She married Weldon Bailey.

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - Beverly Jean (Calfee) Bailey, 71, Scottsdale, formerly of Elmo, Mo., died Thursday, Aug. 31, 1995, from cancer. Mrs. Bailey was born June 3, 1924, in Elmo. She had lived in Scottsdale since 1963. She graduated from the Elmo high school. On March 22, 1943, she married Weldon Bailey in Everett, Wash. He survives of the home. Mrs. Bailey was preceded in death by a son, Jerry; nine brothers, Virgil, Art, Roy, Willis, Ervin, Paul, Wendell "Pete," Franklin and Donovan Calfee; and four sisters, Roberta Rector, Velma Carley and Elizabeth and Mary Calfee. Additional survivors: two sons, James of California and Jeff of Arizona; a stepdaughter, Joyce Armellini of California; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. The body was cremated. A memorial service was held Sept. 2, 1995, in Scottsdale. Burial was at Rose Hills Memorial Park Cemetery in La Habra, Calif."
