Leona "Boots" Bradley, 79, of Harrodsburg, wife of Lloyd Bradley, died Friday, Feb. 26, 2010 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.

Born Jan. 13, 1931 in Harrodsburg, she was the daughter of the late Roach and Margie (Green) Farney. She was a former secretary at Cricketeer Manufacturing and a clerk at the State Bank and Trust. She was a member of the Harrodsburg United Methodist Church and Order #309 of the Eastern Star. She was the widow of O. C. Currens Sr.

Survivors include: her husband: Lloyd Bradley and a son: O. C. (Barb) Currens of Stanford; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by three brothers: Allen, Robert and Condit Farney and two sisters, Helen Ruth Elliott and Grace Curtsinger Devine.

Funeral services were conducted March 1 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel with Ken Klemme and Dale Denton officiating. Burial was in the Spring Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: John Wayne Peavler, Kenny Kurtz, Bill King, Arthur Bradley, Carlos Lester, Gene Curtsinger and Harold Davis. Honorary Bearers were Dr. John Alexander, Dr. Don Hamner, Order 309 of the Easter Star members and members of the Yates-Spillman Sunday School Class
