FRED R. CORDUA FUNERAL TODAY AT ARLINGTON
Funeral services for Fred R. Cordua, 46, former employee in the soil conservation division of the General Accounting Office here, will be held today at 2 p.m. with full military honors at Arlington Chapel. Burial will be in Arlington Cemetery.
Mr. Cordua, who died in Berkeley, Calif., last Saturday, had recently been stationed at Oakland, Calif., where he was in charge of auditing work conducted by the General Accounting Office. He had been assistant regional unit 'tea' in soil conservation for the GAO here since 1936.
A native of Hammond, Ind., Mr. Cordua was a member of the Eighth Aero Squadron in the First World War and served overseas for a two-year period.
He is survived by his wife, Gertrude Abernethy Cordua; a son, Fred R. Cordua, Jr., of Baltimore, MD, and his parents, Mr.and Mrs. Harry E. Cordua of Hammond, Ind.
