Michael Wayne Brown, 68, surrounded by loving family and friends passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 1, 2007 in Jacksonville Beach, FL. Born in Charlotte, NC April 9, 1939. He graduated from Duncan U. Fletcher Class of 1958. He served for four years in the US Navy aboard the USS Roosevelt. He was a lifelong member of IBEW Local 177 as a journeyman electrician.
He is preceded in death by his mother Virginia Dukes Ferris and beloved brother Walter B Brown, Jr. He is survived by his brother Julian S "Butch" Ferris,Jr and sister Jan Ferris, nephew Jeffrey B Cameron, Niece Jennifer Cameron Zeigler and uncle David W Cole, SR. and aunt Emma Irene Cole.
Funeral service was Friday, May 4th in the Chapel of Quinn-Shalz, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. Burial at Chapel Hills Memory Gardens, JAcksonville, FL.
