Tonia A. Sills, 53, of Anderson, passed away February 10, 2010 at St. John's Medical Center after an extended illness. She was born August 12, 1956 in Anderson and graduated from Anderson High School. She was a LPN at Manor Care Health Services. She was a natural caregiver who enjoyed helping others, family gatherings, outdoor activities, cookouts and her family pets. She is survived by her mother, Joan Holland of Muncie; six children, Jeffery Sills, Gregory Sills, Zachary Sills, Casey Sills, Landon Sills and Jose Rodriguez, and their father, Joseph Sills all of Anderson; four grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Albert Woodall, David Woodall, Katie Bilbrey, Kevin Lee, Brian Lee and Charlotte Lee; and several nieces and nephews. Thanks to her friend and caregiver, Angie Whitman; and her lifelong friend, Jackie Ellingwood. She was preceded in death by her step fathers, Grant Holland and Harry Lee. Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Thacker officiating. Burial will be at Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
