Mr. Thomas G. Abrams, 59, of Bradford, was a son of the late Glenn S. and Marjorie D. (Sankner) Abrams. Mr. Abrams was a 1967 graduate of Bradford High School and ATES Technical school in Erie.
Mr. Abrams worked for over 30 years as an engineer working with Automated Guided Vehicle Systems for hospitals. His first employment was with Amsco Systems Company a division of American Sterilizer Company one of the worlds largest suppliers of hospital equipment. Mr. Abrams installed AGV Systems throughout this country and the world. He became one of the worlds leading advocates of AGV's, and robotic systems, with many successful projects. During his career with Amsco he also installed Sterilizing Systems, CargoMaster systems, and Automated Cart Washer Systems. He had also worked for FMC with whom he sold more AGS Systems than anyone else within the company. He also worked with Swisslog and most recently worked as a Consulting Engineer for the Schachinger Group.
He was a member of St. Bernard Church.
Surviving is one brother, two aunts, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters: Marcia Marie Abrams, and Katherine Abrams, and brother Patrick Abrams.
Burial in St. Bernard Cemetery.
