Rosemary (Linville) Burton passed away March 2010 in St. Francis Hospital Tulsa, Oklahoma.
She was born Aug 29, 1951, in Hominy to Woody and Bessie Linville.
She was married to Jesse Herd in 1967 and they had a daughter Shelly.
On Sept 15, 1989, Rosemary and Bob Burton were married in Broken Arrow, Ok. Rosemary enjoyed many years of working with her husband in their bookkeeping and tax business until her diabetes advanced.
She was an excellent cook and housekeeper and loved taking care of her Mother and Dad.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her dad, Woody; and her brother, Dean.
Suriving Rosemary is her husband, Bob, of Broken Arrow; her mother, Bessie Linville of Hominy; daughter Shelly Billen of Broken Arrow; two granddaughters: Heather and Brittney Billen; two great-grandchildren: Shane and Audree; two sisters; Louise McCray of Owasso and Norma Clift of Tulsa; three brothers: Woody Linville of Sand Springs, Ok, Louis Linville of Nowata, Ok, and Jack Linville of India; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Rosemary had many friends and will be missed by everyone.
Reverend Bruce McCray, of Elmore City, Ok, officiated the service.
Music selections played were: "Peace in the Valley," "Because He Lives," and "I Can Only Imagine."
Pall Bears were: Tuffy Sanders, James Goldstein, Steve Miller, John Robinson, Pat Prater and Jack Cross.
Powell Funeral Home was in Charge of the arrangements.
