Graduate of the Concord Senior High School class of 1969.
He was married to Karen Anderson.
He was in office machine sales.
He died of cancer.

He was a son of the late Robert L. Miller Jr. and Ellen Hearne Miller. He attended prep school at Patterson School in Lenoir and graduated in 1969 from Concord High School. He was a Boy Scout and during summers was a counselor at Camp Morehead in Morehead. He was a member of the 108th Division of the U.S. Army Reserve. He appreciated Cabarrus County and was very active in community affairs. He was a member of the Cabarrus Chamber of Commerce, past chairman of the Tourism Committee, worked with the Share Cabarrus Festival and the Concord Christmas parade and was involved in Cabarrus County Economic Business Development.
He combined his love of softball and baseball and youth sports with his work with Amateur Athletic Union sports and with the City of Concord Parks and Recreation. He was a salesman with Carolina Wholesale Office Machine Co. and member of Central United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Karen Anderson Miller; daughter, Laura Keenan Miller, of the home; son, Robert L. Miller IV, of the home; and a brother, E. Hearne Miller, of Concord.
