Evelyn Melick, 90, of Cedar Falls Western Home, formerly of Waterloo, died Friday, February 26, at Sartori Memorial Hospital in Cedar Falls.
She was born May 26, 1919 in Hanlontown, daughter of Clifford and Hazel Calhoun McNelly. She married Clyde Melick on August 22, 1936 in Waterloo.
Survived by her husband; one son, David (Mary) of Waterloo; one daughter, Kathy (Patrick) Joyce of Evansdale; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by one son, Michael; one sister, Betty Lawless; and two brothers, H.L. and Cecil McNelly.
Services 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Walnut Ridge Baptist Church, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Public visitation from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Locke Funeral Home.
