Clarence G. Miller, 87 of Valparaiso passed away Friday, March 5, 2010 at the VNA Horton Hospice Center, Valparaiso, IN.
He was born on September 18, 1922 in Elbridge, Tennessee the son of Vollie and Mary (Moyer) Miller.
Clarence retired from U.S. Steel where he worked as a pump and turbine repairman and he was a member of the Valparaiso Baptist Church.
On May 4, 1946 in Corinth, MS, Clarence married Elsie A. Adams who survives along with their sons, Larry Miller and Carley (Sherry) Miller, both of Valparaiso; 6 grandchildren; Larry (Edie) Miller, Chad (Dalene) Miller, Sharlyn (Vaughn) Staab, Bryan Miller, Finest Morner, Rena (Jason) Klawitter, 17 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, and 5 brothers.
Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 8th at 10:00 AM at Moeller Funeral Home 104 Roosevelt Rd, Valparaiso with Rev. Kenneth Gamblin and Pastor Robert Liedtke officiating. Burial will take place privately at Evergreen Cemetery, Hobart. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00-6:00 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to the VNA Hospice 2401 Valley Dr, Valparaiso 46383.
