Lieut. Arthur C. Parsons, U. S. Navy, retired, died yesterday in Hines hospital. Lieut. Parsons, who was 83 years old, was graduated from the United States naval academy in 1881. He was a veteran of the Spanish-American war. Service will be conducted Monday at 3:30 p.m. in the chapel at 2d avenue and Lake street, Maywood. Burial will be in Arlington National cemetery, Washington, D. C. Lieut. Parsons leaves a sister, Miss Cora K. Parsons, 315 North Marion street, Oak Park.
