Catalina "Katie" C. Aguayo, 86, of Gilbert, Arizona, passed away on March 04, 2010.
She was born on February 13, 1924 in Austin, Texas. Katie spent the last several years working at San Marcos Elementary School.
Katie was preceded in death by her son, Henry Escobar, sister, Lucy Valenzuela, and stepson, Daniel Aguayo, Jr.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel R. Aguayo; brothers, Antonio, Joe and Jesus Contreras; sisters, Sally Contreras and Frances Segoviano; grandchildren, Mark, Gilbert, Eddie, Robert, Darlene and Katie; stepchildren, Michella and Arnold; daughter-in-law Yolanda Escobar; as well as several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 11:30 A.M. - 12:30 P.M., with a 12:30 P.M. Rosary and a Funeral Mass, beginning at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 909 East Washington St., Phoenix, AZ. Burial to follow at East Resthaven Park Cemetery.
