Emily P. Boyer of 1911 Western avenue, Topeka, Kansas, died yesterday as a result of cancer of the stomach.
Short funeral services will be held at the house at 9 o'clock Friday and the address will be given by Rev. Charles M. Sheldon. The body will then be taken to Dover for burial in the family lot.
Mrs. Boyer was born November 13, 1842, at Akron, Ohio.
When 2 years old her parents moved to Lansing, Michigan, where they resided until 1859 when the family moved to Dover, KS.
In the spring of 1860 she was married to. J. W. Boyer who died here January 7, 1906.
In 1877 she Joined the Congregational church of Dover. She came to Topeka to reside in 1895.
