Charlie Wesley Tucker, age 60, of 1020 South Ninth Avenue, passed away at a
local infirmary Friday p.m. Survived by the widow, Mrs. Mary Tucker; four
sons, Travis T., Charles C., George L., all of Birmingham, Louis B. Tucker
of California; four daughters, Mrs. Ruby Meadows, Mrs. Ophelia Brown and
Miss Catherine Tucker, all of Birmingham, and Mrs. Edna Mallon, of
California; three brothers, J.R., R.S., and George S. Tucker; father, G.L.
Tucker, of Odenville, Ala.; two sisters, Mrs. May Newton, and Mrs. Effie
Winfield; 10 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Branchville
Presbyterian Church, hour to be announced later by Ridout's Brown-Service.
