Wife of Stephen Bonsal, Secretary of the United States Legation at Madrid. He remarried to Henrietta Fairfax Morris on March 13, 1900.

Mausoleum is in serious need of repair. Outside appears to be intact however the years and weather has taken its toll on the inside. Main iron gates are rusted & unlockable (secured with chain and padlock), wooden doors won't close, lock and are peeling, stained glass dome has 2 pieces of glass missing allowing the weather in, ceiling and decorative moulding is crumbling and at least 2 crypts (father Charles and his wife Louise) fronts are broken and lying on the floor exposing their caskets. It appears that the current generation has no interest or respect for their ancestors as nothing has been done to keep this grand old mausoleum in any kind of repair.
