Larrie Edwin (Ed) Stephenson, 53, of Waynesburg, R. D. 3 (Smith Creek), died in the Greene County Memorial Hospital at 12:10 p.m. Friday, April 16, 1945, a few hours after he suffered a heart attack at his home.
A well known farmer and road construction worker, Mr. Stpehenson had resided in Greene County all his life. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Waynesburg and of Waynesburg Lodge 153 F. & A. M. He attended Waynesburg College and was a member of the Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity at the college. Born May 29, 1900 at Burgettstown, Mr. Stephenson was a son of the late Larry M. and Bella Cooke Stephenson.
