In 1955, Julian Amos Loggins and his wife, Helen Loggins were residents of 442 East Moulton Street in Decatur, Alabama. Mr. Loggins was employed as a service man at Johnnie Aycock Radio Shack. He was a veteran of the Korean War.

DECATUR -- Julian A. Loggins, 51, of Route 3, Decatur, died Saturday at Huntsville Hospital. The funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Ron Manly and the Rev. Bob Collier officiating.

Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.

Mr. Loggins was a deacon at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Helen Loggins; a son, Randy Julian Loggins of Houston, Texas; a daughter, Mrs. Monica Schmidt of Decatur; his mother, Mrs. Bertha Loggins of Huntsville; four brothers, Gene D. Loggins of Columbia, S.C., Billy Jack Loggins of Huntsville, James W. Loggins of Decatur and Wiley E. Loggins of Roy, Wash.; a sister, Mrs. Peggy A. Beauchamp of Atlanta; and two grandchildren.
