Graveside services are at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 27, at Oakland Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Lariamore officiating. Visitation is from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 27, at Parker Funeral Service.
Mr. Aitken was born April 5, 1930, in Plattsburg to Harry L. and Ida Barnett Aitken. On May 28, 1955, in Germany he married Elizabeth Safron, and she survives.
Mr. Aitken was a custodian at the University of Missouri-Columbia and worked 20 years at Riback Electric Co. He also was a welder most of his
life.
Surviving along with his wife are three sons, David Aitken and Richard Aitken, both of Columbia, and Tim Aitken of Ashland; a daughter, Irene Wolf of Ashland; a brother, Bobby Aitken of Columbia; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorials are suggested to the family in memory of Harry Aitken.
