Mrs. Merlin M. Jung, 42, of the Town of Rhine, died at Plymouth Hospital Sunday morning. The former Virginia Leonard was born Dec. 27, 1927 in Rhine, a daughter of the late Walter and Elizabeth Schmahl Leonard. She attended a parish school in the district and also Elkhart Lake High School. On Sept. 22, 1945, she was married to Mr. Jung, also of Rhine. The couple operated a farm at R. 1, Elkhart Lake. She was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Kiel.
Survivors are her husband, and one daughter, Mrs. Anthony (Dianne) Kauth, Kiel. Funeral services will be at St. Peter UCC with the Rev. John F. Baumann, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Schleswig Cemetery in Rockville.
