Aged Pioneer Passes Away

Sarah Jane Kistler Albright
was born in Adams township, Seneca county, Ohio, Sept. 24, 1841, and departed this life at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harry Hatton, June 1, 1916, aged 74 years, 8 months and 7 days.

She was united in marriage to Jacob Albright March 15, 1860. To this marriage were born two sons and three daughters. One son, Herbert, when three years old, preceded her to the spirit world.

About 30 years ago, during a meeting held by Rev. G. W. Hagans, she professed faith in Christ and identified herself with the Christian Union Church, and has kept the faith, her last words being Thy will be done.

She was ailing about twelve weeks, the immediate cause of her death being heart failure.

She leaves two brothers, Michael Kistler of Huntertown, Ind., and Aaron Kistler of Republic; one son, Lyman Albright; three daughters, Mrs. Mollie Hatton, Mrs. Lora Metzgar and Mrs. Lana Sanders; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and many relatives and friends to mourn her departure.
