Transfeered on 22 Jun 1864 to Jackson Hospital, Richmond, VA with gunshot wound of left hand, minnie ball. Sick furlough from 21 Jul 1864 for 30 days. Sept 1864 - present. On POW Roster at Point Lookout, MD. captured 25 Mar 1865 near Petersburg, VA. Released 23 Jun 1865, Oath of Allegiance at Point Lookout, Md. Description: Res: York District, SC / Complexion: Lt / Hair: Bro / Eyes: Hazle (sic), Height: 5 ft 11 1/4 in.

Edmond Hutchinson Bridges was the son of Thomas Bridges, Jr and Ann Elizabeth Harry. I know that Thomas who died in 1841 was buried in a private Bridges Cemetery in or around Blacksburg. Ann may be buried there too. Ann E. Harry was the daughter of John Bishop Harry & Sarah A. Hutchinson of Grover.
