Native of Glenn Springs, SC and daughter of Charley and Amanda Vanchor Rakestraw. Member of Bethany Presbyterian Church, died April 13, 1995 in Laurens County Hospital in Clinton, SC. Survivors included: two sons, George and Lewis Brewington, three daughters, Mrs. Mary Crain, Mrs. Ollie Adams and Mrs. Gladys Roach, a sister, Mrs. Jessie Blanchard, 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was 77 Years of age at her demise.
