Mr. Albaugh served his country in the Army in World War II and was a POW survivor and Purple Heart recipient. He was a member of Brunswick VFW Post 9520 and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Mr. Albaugh is survived by his sons, William T. and Robert D. (Judy) Albaugh; sisters, Conalee McCartney and Norma Furbee; beloved grandchildren, Megan (David) DiFranco, Jennifer (Scott) Birch, Renee (Michael) Primrose, William Patrick Albaugh and David Albaugh; great-grandchildren, Johnathan and Jeremy Primrose, and Samantha and Anthony Birch; dear family friend, Margaret Albaugh; and many loving and caring friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice Ann, in July 2006; parents, William and Cleda (nee Kohler) Albaugh; and brothers-in-law, Donald McCartney and Arthur Furbee.
Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 929 Pearl Road, Brunswick.
Interment: Resurrection Cemetery, Valley City.
