Eli, will be remembered for his love of the water, and fishing, both for fun and commercially. Also for his laughter, grand smile, humor and enormous hands. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Betty. He is survived by son, Steven and daughter-in-law, Judy. Also survived by grandchildren, Christina and Daniel; and great-grandchildren, Mariah and Gage. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the exceptional caring staff at Josphine Sunset Home in Stanwood, WA, for the loving care they gave to Eli. At his request there will be no service.

Eli was married to our sister Betty and they had one child Steve. They lived in Seattle until they retired to Whidbey Island.

Eli's brother Al married another of our sisters Theresa June Gallagher Foroe. Eli and Al were always great brothers-in-laws. Both had great fun loving ways and they are truly missed.

YOUR NAME
You got it from your father it was all he had to give. So it's yours to use and cherish, for as long as you shall live. If you lose the watch he gave you, it can always be replaced. But a black mark on your name, son, can never be erased. It was clean the day you took it, and a worthy name to bear. When he got it from his father, there was no dishonor there. So make sure you guard it wisley, after all is said and done. You'll be glad the name is spotless when you give it to your son.
