William Turner Grant Jr., age 57, of Fort Smith passed away Monday, Dec. 7, 2009, in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 17, 1952, in Little Rock. He was a 1970 graduate of Northside High School. He was employed by Corrugated Specialties of Fort Smith. He was preceded in death by his father, William Turner Grant Sr., and his mother, Ernestine Redd.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 10, 2009, at Fentress Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow at Oak Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Fentress Mortuary of Fort Smith.

He is survived by his brother, John Grant and his wife, Fonda; nephew, Nik Grant; niece, Elyse Grant; and his extended family, Audria Grant, Lisa Horne and Mitch Bogan.

Pallbearers will be David Tidwell, Bill Oberste, Rick Watson, Mitch Bogan and Nik Grant.

Visitation will be noon to service time Thursday, Dec. 10, at the funeral home.
