Mr. Harry Eugene 'Bobby' Holden, age 76, of Vancleave, MS., died Thursday, June 14, 2007, in Mobile, AL.
He was born March 22, 1931 in Vancleave, MS, and was a lifelong resident of the community.
Bobby served his country in the United States Navy from 1949 to 1952. He was employed at Ingalls Shipbuilding for forty-one years and retired as Hull superintdent in 1994.
He spent many happy days hunting with his family and friends. He was a founding member of Magnolia Hunting Club and served as president for twenty years. He was also a member of the National Rifle Association. He supported his community by serving on the Jackson County School Board for twelve years.
Bobby enjoyed watching the Vancleave Bulldogs on Friday nights every fall and showed his support for the team by founding the Quarter Back Club and serving as president for several years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Jane Cole Holden, his parents, Harve and Eran Holden, sister, Vivian Ruble Poitevan, and brothers, Dan Holden and R T Ruble.
His survivors, who will always cherish their memories of him, include his wife, Gwen Tangney Holden, daughters, Leta 'Sis' {Pat] Burlison of Ocean Springs, MS, and Deirdre 'Deedy' Blair of Vancleave, MS; sons, Monty [Susan] Holden, Victor 'Ronch' [Maria] Holden and Kyle [Melanie] Holden, all of Vancleave, MS., grandchildren, Bart [Michelle] Holden, Josh Holden, Nancy Holden, Ethan Holden, Neal Holden, Jane Marie Holden, Erica Holden, Paige Burlison, and Bobbi Jane 'BJ' Blair, stepgrandson, Joey Burlison, great-grandchildren, River and Chloe, and step-great-grandchildren, Gage and Jacob.

Visitation will be on Monday, June 18, 2007, from 6 - 9p m at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home. On Tuesday, June 19, 2007, there will be a 1 p m chapel service in the funeral home.
Burial will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 417 Security Square, Gulfport, MS 39507.
