Mary Elizabeth Treweeke, 98, Wichita, retired bookkeeper, passed away on August 7, 2007.
Memorial service at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 11, Prairie Homestead in Wichita.
Elizabeth was born in Augusta on July 22, 1909. She attended Wichita Business College and spent most of her adult life in Wichita. Elizabeth worked for many years for the Rounds and Porter Lumber Co. in the accounting department. She retired in 1972. Elizabeth was a member of First United Methodist Church in Wichita and did volunteer work at Wesley Hospital and with Meals on Wheels.
She is survived by her niece, Karen Rickard of Arlington, Texas and two nephews, Rod Kaufman of Lawrence, and John Kaufman of Augusta.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the memorial fund at Prairie Homestead at 1605 W. May, Wichita, KS, 67213.
