CASS CITY CHRONICLE - WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 13, 1995

Mrs. Gladys Agar, 87, formerly of Cass City, died Sunday morning, Dec. 10, at the home of her daughter in Morley.

She was born Nov. 11,1908, in Deford, the daughter of John and Laura (King)Clark. She married Max Agar in Deford Nov. 17,1925.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cass City.

Surviving are 4 children, Maxine and Gene Sickler of Morley, Marilyn and Pastor Allan Jennex of Hessville, Ind.; Graydon and Aida Agar of Tampa, Fla., and Ruth and Pastor Cliff Owens of Greenville; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Josephine Rondo and Della Wright of Pontiac and Donnaline Clink of Tennessee; a brother, Donald Clark of Mayville; 2 sisters-in-law, Mrs. Helen Agar of Cass City and Mildred and Ernest Nichols of Marlette, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Max, son, Gordon, 4 sisters and 2 brothers.

Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at Oakfield Baptist Church with Pastor Clifford Owens and Pastor Allan Jennex officiating.Interment was scheduled
Tuesday afternoon in Novesta Township Cemetery with Gene Sickler officiating. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Memorial Fund at First Baptist Church in Cass City.

Pederson Funeral Home in Rockford was in charge of arrangements.
