He received his discharge from the Army on March 26, 1946 at Ft. Dix, New Jersey.

He was originally from Narberth, Pennsylvania.

He was a recipient of the Bronze Star Medal.

General White is interred, along with his Wife, Bertha M. Stockburger White, in the Annex Section of the Gettysburg National Cemetery.
