MABEL L. LASSEN
Services for Mabel L. Lassen, 82, 1129 N. Cedar, who died Saturday, Jan 14, 1989, at Ransom Memorial Hospital, will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church, 925 W. 7th, with the Rev. William Weber officiating. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery.
She was born on Aug. 25, 1906 in Baldwin. She married Walter Lassen on Aug. 25, 1935, in Ottawa.
She moved to Ottawa from Overbrook in 1973. She and her husband were farmers. She attended the Calvary Baptist Church and was a member of the Senior Club and the Senior Citizens Center, all of Ottawa.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; a brother, Edgar Baker, Ottawa RFD 4; two sisters, Gertrude Sheffield, 1038 S. Locust, and Pauline McCelland, Lawrence.
Friends may call at Dengel and Son Mortuary from Monday evening to noon Wednesday. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
