Mary Elizabeth Nix, 63, a native of Arkansas, was born July 13, 1871 and died at Mangum, OK Saturday November 17, 1934 at 10:30 o'clock. She had been a resident of this county for a number of years and was well known in this section.

She is survived by two sons, M. M. Nix and Darwin Nix, both of Shamrock; three daughters, Mrs. Mae Taylor of Mangum; Mrs. Tollie McKinney of this city and Mrs. Edwin Garrett of Stonewall, Oklahoma; also a step-son, Claude Nix of Stonewall.
