Edward Bruggeman
Funeral Held
St.Peter Lutheran Church
Funeral services for Edward Bruggeman, 83, of Toeterville, who died Sunday, September 26 at the Mitchell County Memorial hospital, Osage, were held Wednesday, September 29 at St. Peter Lutheran church, Toeterville, with the Rev. Wm. Perkins officiating.
Edward Bruggeman, son of Fred and Elizabeth {Perau} Bruggeman, was born in Union Township on a farm a half mile north of Toeterville February 17, 1893 where he spent his entire life as a farmer. He farmed many years with his brother, George, and after the death of his brother, continued living on the farm until his health failed.
He entered the St.Ansgar Good Samaritan Center October 28, 1973. Mr. Bruggeman was baptized in the Lutheran faith March 12, 1893 and confirmed on Palm Sunday in 1907 at St. Peter Lutheran.
Mr. Bruggeman is survived by nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents: five brothers, Herman, Albert, Fred, William, and George: five sisters, Mrs. William {Augusta} Hoverman, Mrs. Albert {Bertha} Brandt, Mrs. Sam {Emma} Ehlke, Mrs. Fred {Alice} Buntrock and Martha Bruggeman.
Burial was in St. Peter Lutheran cemetery with Rev. Perkins in charge of commital services.

Ed was a bachelor as he never married.
Ed with his siblings, sister Martha & his brother George,
all lived together. None of these siblings ever married.
Martha Dorthea Bruggeman was born on January 25,1888 & Passed away on August 9,1956.
George Bruggeman was born on
July 7,1895 & passed away on
April 12,1962.
