Not sure of the correct spelling of his first name; his first wife and brother's obituaries both list his name as "Ernest" rather than "Earnest". The cemetery registry on interment.net also lists his name as "Ernest".

EARNEST LEE KIRBY

Funeral services were held Feb. 14 at Oak Grove Pentecostal Holiness church for Earnest Lee Kirby, 42, who died Feb. 12 at Oklahoma City. Rev. Butch Fires officiated. Interment was in Drake-Nebo cemetery with arrangements by Clagg Funeral Home.

Born June 4, 1941 at Mill Creek he had lived in this area all of his life. He was a veteran of Viet Nam and a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church at Oak Grove. He was married to Gladys Davis Sept. 13, 1982 at Pauls Valley.

Survivors include his wife, Gladys, of the home; three daughters, Dorotha Kirby, Rebecka Kirby and Janice Kirby all of Sulphur; two step daughters, Janice Vance of Wynnewood and Sandra Rose of Tulsa; one son, Rocky Lee Kirby of Sulphur; four step sons, Murel Bailey, Fred Bailey and Tommy Bailey all of Wynnewood and Jimmy Bailey of Tulsa; his father, Ike Kirby of Okmulgee; two brothers, Lucky Kirby of Sulphur and Coy Kirby of Houston; two step brothers, Paul Williams and Ralph Williams both of Sulphur; one sister, Betty Gaylor of Centrahoma and six grandchildren.
