Services for Mrs. Claire Kirtland, a retired registered nurse, will be 2:30 p.m. today at Calvary United Methodist Church. The Rev. Ben C. Alexander will officiate. Burial will be in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Mrs. Kirtland died Sunday at the James Robertson Hotel where she lived. She was married to Dr. Dixie R. Kirtland, a Nashville Optometrist who died in 1950. Mrs. Kirtland worked for about 20 years with Tempeo Corp. as the company's industrial nurse before retiring about 10 years ago. She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, the St. Thomas Auxiliary, Tennessee Nursing Association and the American Legion Auxiliary.
