Arthur T. Becker, 77, of 506 N. Klein St., was pronounced dead on arrival at St. John's hospital at 5:30 p.m. yesterday. Coroner W.C. Telford, who will conduct an inquest, said death apparently resulted from natural causes. Mr. Becker collapsed at his home.
Surviving are two brothers, Carl H. Becker, city, and Walter T. Becker, Peoria; four nephews and two nieces.
Mr. Becker was born in Springfield Aug. 1, 1877. He was a member of Central Baptist church.
The body is at the Bisch Memorial home.

Funerals.
Becker - The funeral services of Mrs. Arthur T. Becker were held at residence of her mother, Mrs. Helen Brooks, 1210 East Jackson street, yesterday morning at 9 o'clock and at 9:30 o'clock from the Church of the Immaculate Conception, the Rev. Father Hickey officiating. During the services J.B. Barnaby and Mrs. P.P. Powell sang solos. At the close, Father Hickey spoke in a most touching manner on the death and the long patient suffering of the deceased. The casket was banked with the many beautiful floral offerings. The pallbearers were Charles McBride, Thomas Doyle, Clarence Letricks, William Stewart, Thomas Haley and William Stanley.
The Rev. Father McGuire accompanied the remains to Calvary cemetery and conducted the services at the grave.

Becker-Weshinskey - Married, at 8:30 o'clock Wednesday evening, September 23, 1908, at the residence of the officiating clergyman, Rev. E.B. Rogers, pastor of the Central Baptist church, Arthur T. Becker and Miss Mary A. Wishinskey, both of this city.
Both of the contracting parties are well known, the groom having been born and reared here. He has been in the employ of the Chicago-Springfield Coal company for some time.
For several years past the bride has made her home with Mr. and Mrs. G. C. Smith and has been pursuing the study of music, both vocal and instrumental, often singing at entertainments.
The couple were attended by Miss Minnie Hamm of Jacksonville and Charles Kern of this city. After a short trip in the north Mr. and Mrs. Becker will be at home to their friends at their cottage on South College street.
