Mildred was born in Sedalia, Missouri and in 1917 her father was transferred to Parsons, Kansas with the Missouri Kansas Texas railroad.

Mildred was a city girl and from a small family of two sisters. After she married "Westy" she adapted well to farm life with no electricity, no indoor plumbing, or telephone.

She was descended from the colorful Lovelace Family.

Celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary Oct. 16, 1995 and she died Dec. 11, 1995.
