Stanley Gilbert Brown, 53, of Colorado City, died at 9:40 a.m. Sunday at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital in Sweetwater after a sudden illness.
Burial was in the Colorado City, Cemetery.
Born May 22, 1925, in Hermleigh, he was an automotive mechanic. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Inez; his mother, Annie Brown of Colorado City; three daughters, Sue Craighead and Sally Brown, both of Colorado City and Reta Isbell
of Rantoul, 111.; two sons, Stanley Gilbert Jr., of Dallas and Donnie of Las Vegas,
Nevada; a sister, Helen Kendrick of Big Spring and five grandchildren.
