Henry C. Schumann, age 57 of Crockett, passed away Sunday, December 5, 2004 in Monterey, California. Mr. Schumann was born November 20, 1947 in Houston and had been living in Crockett for the past 4 years. MR. Schumann was a member of the National Car Haulers Hall of Fame. Mr. Schumann worked as a truck driver and was a member of the Church of God in Crockett.
Survivors include his wife Vellindia Schumann, of Crockett; children Crystal Annette Schumann Flick, of Houston, Donald L. Schumann, of Crockett, Dianna Lynn Schumann, of Houston and Ray Schumann, of Magnolia; grandchildren Andy, Kevin, Eddie, Megan and Matthew; father Otis L. Schumann, of Crockett; sister Deborah Gail Arnold, of Magnolia; brothers Otis L. "Sonny" Schumann, Jr., of Magnolia, Michael Schumann, of Axton, Va., Phillip Schumann and wife Andrea, of Wesley Chapel; numerous other relatives.
Preceded in death by his mother Vivian Lois Schumann; sister Emily Joyce Schumann; grandparents C. C. "Big Daddy" Davis and Jessie May "Mom Bob" Davis.
Funeral services for Mr. Henry C. Schumann were held Saturday, December 11, 2004, at 10:30 a.m. in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Robert Cannon officiating.
