Edward M Cranford, 80, of 716 Grenada Terrace, died Tuesday in a local hospital. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

Mr Cranford, a native of Bibb County, lived in Macon 34 years and was retired owner and operator of Victory Grill. He was a member of the Order of the Eagles.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Cornelia Ginnan Cranford of Macon; two sons, Edward M. Cranford, Jr of Macon and William F. "Bud" Cranford of Warner Robins; a daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Cranford McGee of Port St. Lucie, FL; a brother, Kiser J Cranford of Macon; two sisters, Mrs. Josie Haddock of Macon and Mrs. Mildred Cranford Bolton of Miami, FL; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
