DONALD G. SPRINGER, 85, of New Haven died Monday at Miller's Merry Manor. He retired in 1977 from Nebraska Reality Corp. after 43 years of service. He was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church.

Surviving are sons, Calvin D. of New Haven and Donald G. of Fort Wayne; daughters, Carol A. Hoelle of Fort Wayne and Marlene A. Louden of Phoenix; brothers, Raymond and Kenneth, both of Ossian; sisters, Frieda Fenton, Gertrude Hitzeman, Della Hilsmier(, Linda Caston and Bernadine Brewer, all of Ossian, Mildred Menze of Fort Wayne, and JoAnn Voelker of Hoagland; 15 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, 800 Green St., with calling one hour before services. Calling is also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, New Haven.
