A longtime Christian County resident Willie passed away in his home in Sparta after a long illness. He moved to Sparta for Chadwick in 1942, he was a member of the Baptist church.
Surviving is his wife Bertha E. , two daughters Goldie Nokes , Ozark and Jewell Luttrell , Sparta, and a sister Minnie Hammons, Chadwick.
Other survivors are seven brothers, Albert, Fred, Arthur and Glenn(Buster)all of Chadwick. Robert, Lee and Harrison of Oldfield. 5 grandchildren, and 5 gr -grandchildren,
He married Bertha Roberts on March 19, 1921 in Christian County.
His parents were Thomas Marion Coffer and Sarah C. Hursh.
