Miss Laura Knooihuizen of 229 West 12th St. died Tuesday evening at Birchwood Manor Nursing Home following an extended illness.

Miss Knooihuizen has been a Holland resident all of her life. She owned the Knooihuizen Shoppe in Holland for 44 years. She was a member of Hope Reformed Church; Hope Church Ladies Guild; Ladies Literary Club, the Yadnom Club and the K.K.K. Club.

Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Janet Muyskens of Holland, and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 am at the Dykstra Chapel with the Rev. William Hillegonds officiating. Burial will be in Plgrim Home Cemetery.
