Eva I. Pottorff, 45, West Liberty, died Saturday at 7:30 a.m. in Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

Services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday in Summers Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Landreth, Rev. Scotty Chestnut, and Rev. Roger Russell presiding. Visitation will be 6-8:30 p.m. today. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery at Wakefield.

Mrs. Pottorff was born June 20, 1937, in Grayville, the daughter of Harvey and Edith E. (Weiss) Amons. She married Ivan Pottorff June 13, 1954 in Richland County, and he survives.

She was a liscensed baby sitter; secetary of the West Liberty Water District; and a member of West Liberty United Methodist Church.

Other survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Jerry (Angela Kay) Jenkins, Fairfield; Kathy Lynn Pottorff, Olney and Tina Marie Pottorff, Springfield; three brothers, Kenneth Amons, Springfield; Charles Amons, Argenta; James Amons, Macon; three sisters, Delpha Huffman, Champaign; Evelyn Nichols, Missouri; and Louise Stevens, Pekin; her mother Mrs. Edith E. Boxell, Noble; several nieces and nephews; and her mother and father-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. I.V. Pottorff, Dundas.

She was preceded in death by her father and a grandchild, Trahan Jenkins.
