Janet was born Feb. 27, 1931, in Mishicot, Wis., a daughter of the late William and Hattie (Zermuehlen) Weihemuller. She attended schools in Mishicot, graduating from Mishicot High School with the class of 1948. Janet was co-owner/operator of Jerry's Southside Bakery in Two Rivers, along with her former husband Jerry, for 33 years. She continued to work for her son, David, now owner of the business, until retiring in 1995, when she moved to sunny Florida. Janet loved living in the Sunshine State, and the time spent with her many friends at the country club and the Moose Lodge; she also enjoyed line dancing at Lecanto. Janet had a passion for line dancing; she also enjoyed playing golf and cards with her friends, especially "Hand and Foot."
Survivors include her seven children: Barb and Roger Drossart, Manitowoc, Wis., Brian and Shelly Parizek, Two Rivers, Wis., Laurie and Bruce Jonesen, Kiel, Wis., Kristeen and German Suarez, Dublin, Ohio, David and Anna Parizek, Manitowoc, Wis., Jeffrey and Becky Parizek, Rocton, IL, and Steve Parizek of Two Rivers, Wis.; twelve grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She is further survived by two sisters and brothers-in-law, Wilma (John) Zinn, Two Rivers, Wis., Verda (Jack) Rahmlow, Mishicot, Wis.; one brother, Elmer Weihemuller, Two Rivers, Wis.; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many many special friends in Florida. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Erich Parizek; a sister and brother-in-law, Hazel (Arnold) Kind; a sister-in-law, Pearl Weihemuller; and the father of her children, Jerry Parizek.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 19, 2010, at the Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, 1506 18th St., Two Rivers, Wis. Officiating at the memorial service will be the Rev. Gerald Foley, with burial of her cremated remains to take place in Forest View Cemetery, Two Rivers.
The family will greet relatives & friends at Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. on Friday morning. There will be no Thursday evening visitation.
