He was a retired Tool & Die Maker for RCA and member of South Marion Friends Church. Howard enjoyed woodworking, photography, traveling and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his sister, Freda "Evelyn" Grim, Marion; nieces, Becky Davis, Iowa Park, Texas, Barbara (Jerry) Brown, Jonesboro, Linda (Kevin) Kidwell, Marion; several great and great-great and great-great-great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Sheets; niece, Sharon Colyer.
