Nathan Bair, aged 74 years, a highly esteemed pioneer of Greenwood, died Tuesday evening at the home of his son-in-law, Henry Bauer. He was sitting in the lawn swing conversing with John Fust and Sam Muth when he fell over on Mr Fust’s shoulder and died. Heart failure was the cause. He had not been in good health for some time, but was always able to walk around and had only recently returned from a trip to North Dakota for a visit with his daughter, Mrs William Isabel. The funeral will be held from the Buckeye church and interment will be made there besides the remains of his wife and other children.
