Recitation of the Rosary will be 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Tennant Hettinger Funeral Home. Mrs. Roth died Sunday, Aug. 28,1988 at a Sterling nursing home. She was born Oct. 6, 1895 in Campbell, Neb., the daughter of Francis Xavier and Azeline Gagnon DeMars, taught school in Roseland, Neb., then resided in Sidney, Neb., before coming to Sterling where she worked for Mentgen Ready-To- Wear, Elite Fashion Shop and later Montgomery Wards. She married John B. Roth, June 7,1927 in Campbell, Neb.
Mrs. Roth was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, a 55-year member of Catholic Daughters, and a member of Altar & Rosary Society and Daughters of the American Revolution.
She is survived by a daughter, Glorice Kriegshouser of Fort Col lins; a brother, Lawrence DeMars of Oklahoma City, Okia.; six grand children and four great- grandchildren
Tennant-Hettinger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements where visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
