Freddie E. Dove
JANUARY 14 – Freddie E. Dove, of Green Bay and Farmville, died Monday, January 11, 2010 in Farmville. Born in Blacksburg, July 17, 1935, he was the son of John William and Della Maude Doss Dove. He was retired from his work on a dairy farm.
Surviving are his wife, Edna Reedy Dove of Farmville; three sons, Richard Dove and Tommy Dove of Rice and Johnny Dove of Appomattox; three grandchildren, Ashley Dove, Tommy Dove and Tiffany Dove; and a special friend, Carolyn Woods of Appomattox.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, in the chapel of Shorter Funeral Home with burial following in Crewe Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 p.m. Thursday (tonight) at the funeral home.
Shorter Funeral Home, Farmville, is serving the family.
