In the March 18, 1927, Bedford Gazette, I found a article that was in the Pleasantville section, it stated: " Mr. and Mrs. "Web" Adams are the proud parents of a baby girl."

WEBB ADAMS

ADAMS - Webb, 78, Pleasantville, died July 31, 1970, at Windber Hospital.

Born May 20, 1892, Chaneysville, Bedford County, son of William and Mary Elizabeth (Wigfield) Adams.

Preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Survived by widow, former Ethel Barefoot, and these children: Mrs. Ardean Kauffman and Sherman, both of Pleasantville, and foster daughter, Janet McMillen, New Paris, R.D. 1; also nine grandchildren. Brother of Guy, Pleasantville, and Harnish, Bedford.

Veteran of World War I.

Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Edward Blackburn Funeral Home, Pleasantville, where
service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, the Rev. Verl Ickes.

Interment, Pleasantville Cemetery. Military graveside rite by Bedford honor guard.
